About the Job

Do you want to constantly improve the efficiency of Games Workshops kitchen through the consistent and cost effective delivery of high quality food?

Are you excited by always delivering high quality food to the Games Workshop Lenton site all day every day? Are you able to do this ensuring that the kitchen is well organised and always running smoothly? Are you able to identify improvement opportunities so that the service provided is always getting better?

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for organising, preparing and cooking food for Games Workshop staff and Games Workshop customers. In doing this you will have open and constructive conversations with staff and customers to gain appropriate feedback to help improve the food services on offer. This job will require you to work both weekdays and weekends, typically within normal business hours. This role will report to the restaurant manager but when the restaurant manager is away, you’re in charge of the kitchen and restaurant so the role requires supervisory responsibility.

We know that it can be hard to deliver the best possible food service day after day. To be successful in this job you will always need to be enthusiastic and  energetic whilst always being passionate about the food you produce and always thinking about ways to improve the overall restaurant offer.

Full time position working 5 days out of 7 this will include weekends.

The Games Workshop kitchen and staff restaurant

The Games Workshop Kitchen provides freshly prepared food every day to both Games Workshops staff and Warhammer World visitor’s. With over 800 staff on site the staff restaurant is busy everyday providing a full English breakfast and lunch service. In addition the kitchen provides a full bar food service to the world famous Bugmans’s Bar. No two days are the same as demands are ever charging.
