About the Job
Do you want to enable the Black Library editorial team to deliver the right books at the right time through actively developing and maintaining a stable of new authors?
Are you excited by going out into the world to actively engage with and recruit great new authors for Black Library? Are you excited by working with Games Workshop’s world renowned universes and background? Do you want to be a part of Black Library’s lasting legacy and contribute to its ongoing growth?
You will be responsible for identifying new authors and then assessing the quality of their submissions, appropriate to Black Library’s needs. You will be recommending new authors to the editorial team with a view to expanding Black Library’s list of core authors. To be successful in this role you will need to be organised, self reliant and be able to plan efficiently.
We know what makes this job hard is maintaining quality no matter what, and remaining cheerful and optimistic regardless of what setbacks or challenges may come your way.
This role will involve attending shows and events outside of Games Workshop and will involve some weekend work.
