Black Library German Translator: Home-based

About the Job

Do you want to translate Black Library’s latest releases into German?

Are you excited by the challenge of ensuring that New York Times bestselling ranges such as the Horus Heresy are as gripping and evocative in German as they are in English?

You’ll be responsible for translating our most popular books into German to deadline while upholding Black Library’s style, making certain that new books are firmly set in the worlds of Warhammer. You’ll also work with a team of translators to build and maintain our comprehensive style guides.

We know what makes this job hard is to deliver quality manuscripts on time while working in a home-office environment.

Language skills: Translating fiction requires a high level of language skills, therefore your German is at a native level and you are comfortable translating English fiction into German while taking into account Black Library’s unique style.
