About the Job

Games Workshop’s extremely successful Licensing department is looking for an IP knowledgeable product manager to manage a small team dedicated to ensuring all licensed products are authentic, of a high quality, and make the best use of Games Workshop IP for their market.

So – are you excited by the idea of being responsible for driving the quality, authenticity and distinctiveness of all GW licensed products, whilst managing your team to ensure each product is commercially viable?

Day to day you will be working with our larger licensees, helping them to make the best use of the IP through your articulate explanation and collaborative style, and approving that use in a thorough and methodical way.  Staying on top of Games Workshop’s ever-evolving IP and always seeking clarity in any communication will be essential, as will making sure that all systems are followed and continuously improved upon. You will be managing your team to do the same with a group of licensees that you allocate them, always setting high standards and goals that you will help them achieve through supportive coaching and guidance, whilst being an exemplary role model.  Doing all this will require developing many different relationships globally, both internally and externally, ensuring that all our licensed products are the best they can be creatively. You will uphold Games Workshop’s reputation as a great Licensor at all times.

What makes this job hard is maintaining your extensive knowledge of Games Workshop’s IP and applying that in such a way, yourself and through your team, that all licensed products are authentic and of the highest quality for their market.

Other Essential Information

Travel: Some international and national travel may be required occasionally.

Experience: Previous experience of the licensing industry is not required but would be beneficial.
