Do you want to join Black Library’s growing team of German translators?
Are you excited about the challenge of ensuring that New York Times bestselling ranges such as the Horus Heresy are as gripping and evocative in German as they are in English?
You will be responsible for translating our most popular books into German to deadline while upholding Black Library’s style, making certain that new books are firmly set in the worlds of Warhammer. You’ll also work with a team of translators to build and maintain our comprehensive glossaries and style guides.
We know what makes this job hard is to deliver high quality manuscripts on time while working in a home-office environment.

Other Essential Information
Location: Our headquarters are based in Nottingham, UK, however this is a full-time position working from your own home.
Language skills: Translating fiction requires a high level of language skills, therefore your German is at a native level and you are comfortable translating English fiction into German while taking into account Black Library’s unique style.
