Packaging Designer (fixed term): Nottingham, UK

About the Job

Do you want to be part of the team that designs packaging for our wide and varied range of hobby products everything from the label on a 12ml paint pot to a massive 600mm x 600mm full colour large scenery boxes using many different materials?

Are you excited by the challenge of working with the product designers in the team to ensure our packaging promotes hobby products in an exciting innovative and appropriate manner in an end to end process?

You will need to work to a given brief and meet scheduled deadlines enthusiastically in a design team environment. Working from Concept through to production you will be responsible for producing new packaging design, you’ll be encouraged to be experimental whilst still remaining respectful and informed by existing packaging. You will need a keen aesthetic eye and be able to collaborate effectively to find the best solutions to design tasks. You must be driven to manage your own time responsibly and work well in a team, ensuring you deliver all your work to the exacting standards expected and agreed schedule. And you must be willing to appropriately interact with processes and implement improvements to increase your productivity.

Contract duration: This contract is for a fixed term period of up to 18 months.
