About the Job
Do you want to cover the people and business news for Games Workshop? Are you excited about writing about the individuals involved with the world’s greatest miniatures company? Can you find the inspirational story in the everyday?
Working as part of the Warhammer Community team you will cover all Games Workshop events including consumer shows and recruitment drives. You will write press releases, journalistic pieces, event reports, Facebook posts, tweets, and full-length articles. You will write in a variety of voices and styles and ensure your copy is always compelling and engaging. You will work to strict deadlines and a loose brief that expects you to identify the key story and features to report on.
We know what makes this job hard is the always on aspect of social marketing – this isn’t a 9-5 job! Our business is global and you will have to write stories about and collaborate with individuals in many different locales. The right candidate for this role will have bags of energy and drive, and be able to undertake occasional international travel. Weekend work will feature heavily in this role.
