About the Job

Do you want to work as part of the Warhammer Community team? Are you excited about creating world class consumer content? Can you help us present the worlds of Warhammer in an engaging and entertaining way?

We’re looking for a unique individual skilled in all areas of content creation – from project management and idea generation through to asset commissioning and execution.

Day-to-day you will produce illustrations in a variety of styles suitable for use on our social media and other digital content channels. You will lead concept meetings with writers and designers and help shape the tone of a campaign. You will also work up both 2D and 3D animations for key pieces and work alongside the Warhammer TV team to deliver enhanced media content. Beyond that, you will input on the design and of our content website and with a focus on the UX. You will take ownership of these elements and drive step-change improvement.

We know what makes this job hard is in understanding our IP and worlds fully enough to create quirky and humorous representations of our characters and settings while remaining respectful to their core identities. This is not a nine-to-five job and the successful applicant will have a proven track record of flexible working and of delivering upon numerous overlapping deadlines. They will have a demonstrable willingness to embrace the ‘always on’ aspect of digital marketing.

This job requires you to be an expert with:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe After effects
  • Adobe XD
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Cinema 4D

You will also have a working knowledge of:

  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Java

A working understanding of Jira or similar software would be advantageous.

As a talent for illustration is required for this role, please submit at least 4 examples of your work along with your letter. These examples should use an existing IP and present it in a new, playful light.
