About the Job
If you have no previous experience but are passionate about learning to cook using fresh ingredients an apprenticeship at Games Workshop is the perfect starting block to a career in catering.
You don’t need any direct experience as they can teach you everything! If you are willing to learn and be proud to work with them, they can show you exactly what it takes to become a vital team member in any kitchen.
You’ll take on a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of experienced chefs, alongside your training you will be working to gain your Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification. You will be working as a team to serve up great food in a friendly atmosphere they will help you develop the skills necessary to prepare and cook food quickly and efficiently. You will be able to support the running of their kitchen, creating some amazing food while ensuring that quality never slips for their customers.
What will your day-to-day involve?

• Ensure food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food

Games Workshop have partnered with HIT Training where you will attend a chef academy every 8 weeks participating in workshops using premium seasonal produce and learning essential skills whilst being creative and innovative.
No qualifications required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
