Your key responsibilities will include:
Create and deliver an operational plan to ensure the continued growth of the Black Library publishing business in line with Games Workshop’s core business strategy.

Work closely with all our studios to create and develop engaging characters, series and offers across all IP.
Ensure productive working relationships with third party distributors and internal sales teams that help drive both new releases and underlying sales.
Deliver new sales channels and territories for both physical and digital formats.
Ensure best practice standards and procedures are agreed, clear, in place and delivered whilst championing a continuous improvement culture.
You will have:
Proven experience in leadership sales/operational roles.
Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and write clear and concise business plans.
Proven experience of building relationships to deliver commercial results
Strong negotiation skills with experience in cross functional internal & external stakeholder management.
Proven track record of managing departments of specialists and developing high performing teams.
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Extensive knowledge of our IPs and brands would be advantageous.
We know this will be a challenging and exciting role for the right individual and is a fantastic opportunity in a fast growing, ambitious company with passionate people. This role is based at our Nottingham Head Office and will involve travel to both Europe and North America.
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is just as important as your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
