Do you want to work with fresh ingredients to make food from scratch for Games Workshop Customer and staff whilst overseeing the kitchen team?
Are you excited by the idea of working on different sections of the kitchen making no two days the same?
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for organising, preparing and cooking food for both Games Workshop staff and Games Workshop customers. In doing this you will have open and constructive conversations with staff and customers to gain appropriate feedback to help improve the food services on offer.
This job will require you to work both weekdays and weekends, typically within normal business hours. This role will report to the restaurant manager.
We know that it can be hard to deliver the best possible food service day after day. To be successful in this job you will be an experienced chef with mass catering experience and who is open to change and development. Always remaining enthusiastic and energetic is essential, whilst being passionate about the food you produce.
The ideal candidate will be always thinking about ways to improve the overall restaurant offer.
Full time position working 5 days out of 7. You will know your working rota 2 weeks in advance.
Working hours – 39 hour per week
The Games Workshop Kitchen and Staff Restaurant
The Games Workshop Kitchen provides freshly prepared food every day to both Games Workshops staff and Warhammer World visitor’s. With over 800 staff on site the staff restaurant is busy everyday providing a full English breakfast and lunch service. In addition the kitchen provides a full bar food service to the world famous Bugmans’s Bar. No two days are the same as demands are ever changing.
