Food and Beverage Manager

Are you an experienced Food and Beverage Manager looking for your next opportunity?

We’re looking for an engaging, driven & highly collaborative individual to deliver a great customer experience to our global visitors at Bugman’s Bar. As well as essential food services through the staff restaurant for over 1500 Games Workshop staff across our Lenton Campus. Whilst managing the Food and Beverage offer for East Midlands Gateway Distribution Hub and other sites.

Ensuring Bugmans and the Restaurant have a world class food and beverage offer; including regular menu changes in Bugmans; in theme with the rest of Warhammer World and the appropriate offer to our staff in the staff Restaurant.

You will be experienced in managing teams across multiple sites, staff development and creating a learning and continuous improvement environment.  

You will need to enjoy working collaboratively with both our Bugman’s Bar Manager and our Head Chef to ensure we can offer a world class food and beverage offer.

We want great people to deliver a great service through clear standards, continually improved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial accountability – setting and achieving monthly targets and departmental profitability figures
  • Work, and develop relationships, with external suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry, and receive the service required to ensure that the operational Food and Beverage team can deliver the highest quality product, and the highest financial return. Ensure food and drink is ordered to fulfil demand whilst minimising waste.
  • Manage the food and beverage offer across all Nottingham based sites. Including the East Midlands Gateway facility.
  • Champion a training culture within the Food and Beverage teams to ensure succession planning, and a culture that exceeds the very best the industry has to offer
  • Develop productive working relationships with internal key stakeholders, taking the lead on all customer experience change projects and food and beverage delivery expectations for events.
  • Continuously improve the day to day running of the food and beverage team and offer through working with the wider site management team and being open to feedback and urgent and clear about change.
  • Ensuring that the wider food and beverage responsibilities meet all Health and Safety, Compliance and Food Standards achieving this through pre-emptive measures and standards.
