About the Job
Do you want to be one of the faces of Games Workshop? Are you excited by teaching people to paint Warhammer miniatures, from Battle Ready through to Parade Ready? Can you walk the tightrope between being entertaining and providing world class painting instruction?
Day-to-day, you’ll work with the Warhammer Community team to make amazing videos that teach people how to paint. You’ll come up with painting plans, gather the resources you need and work with the filming team to create the best possible painting tutorials. You’ll also be responsible for becoming an expert in the Citadel Colour System and developing interesting and engaging presenting style. You will also help present on our live broadcasts, as well as our pre-recorded shows, and will be involved in Warhammer Community’s painting and modelling projects.
Being a face of Games Workshop is hard. You will always be ‘on’. No matter the subject matter or forum, you must cheerfully communicate with our loyal customer base. To be successful, you will need endless enthusiasm for Warhammer and the Games Workshop hobby.
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is just as important as your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
