About the Job

Do you want to work as part of Games Workshop’s marketing team?

Are you excited by the opportunity to set the tone for how and when we talk about Warhammer? Are you able to tell compelling stories and build engagement through content? Can you devise and deliver effective product, community and brand marketing?

You will be responsible for writing the promotions strategy underpinning a series of Warhammer product lines and campaigns. You will identify the key features of and opportunities to promote those products and campaigns and write creative briefs needed to realise them. You will remain customer focused at all times and ensure you do no harm to the Warhammer brand.

Working with the writers, designers, and videographers of the marketing creative studio, you will write and refine briefs, turning ideas into finished content. You will work closely with the channel managers to ensure the roll out of that content and setup feedback loops to ensure metrics are managed. You will ensure that all campaigns under your charge meet all legal and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for briefing and supporting our social media moderation and customer service teams to ensure their customer interactions and messaging is reflective of the overall campaign.

We know what makes this job hard is the breadth and depth of our product offer, and the vast communities of customers that engage with it – in this role, you’ll need to have a passion and commitment to understand it all.  It will also be challenging to coordinate a campaign across multiple territories and in multiple languages. The right candidate will have an absolute commitment to Games Workshop, the Warhammer hobby and the loyal customers who participate in it.

To be invited to interview you will need to demonstrate strong writing and editing skills, and show experience of ideation, content creation, project management, and online audience growth. You will also need to be up to date with and understand all current social media platforms and have a firm grasp of digital content trends.
