About the Job

Are you experienced in project management within Logistics or Supply Chain environments?

Do you want to support Games Workshop’s logistics and supply chain teams to expand their current global operations, by bringing major projects to fruition, allowing them to open up new opportunities with trading partners across the world? Are you excited by being involved in, and leading projects that deliver material results in a world leading growth business?

As Global Project Manager, your role will be involved in, and lead, a variety of projects, large and small, around the world that will help our logistics and supply chain teams expand and drive ever greater growth. Working collaboratively with other areas of the business to ensure objectives are met and projects implemented on time and in budget. Initially you will be focussed on logistics projects, however, the role will expand to cover our end to end supply chain.

Day to day you will be working to ensure the projects move at pace. You will have projects relating to the UK and USA as well as potentially Asia and Australia so managing time zones and working across countries via online meetings will be an integral part of this role.

Your previous experience will allow you to juggle multiple projects and tasks of varying disciplines with conflicting priorities to resolution, keep internal and external stakeholders informed and supported.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience of project management, governance of work and the ability to hold everyone involved accountable to clear time scales.
  • To be organised, analytical, and commercially astute.
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment, with a working knowledge of revenue, profit, margins and commercial contracts.
  • The ability to interact with stakeholders across the business, at every level.
  • Experience working within logistics or supply chain environments would be an advantage.

We know that getting your own, and others, projects to completion, within appropriate timelines and budgets is the real challenge of this job. Success in this job relies on staying focused on the goal, staying firm to the aim of the company, and influencing and managing internal and external stakeholders to achieve success.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established company that continues to lead the industry and delight its customers. If you want to be part of our exciting future, we want to hear from you!
