About the Job

Do you want to be part of a high performing Global Buying and Merchandising team working across a vertically integrated business ensuring the continued supply of our products for all of Games Workshop’s customers around the world?

Are you passionate about getting results and working with key stakeholders to plan and purchase inventory across Games Workshop?

In this position you will play a critical role purchasing a large selection of our key product categories. Your core responsibilities will be to plan and purchase your products, in the right places, at the right times and at the right buying price. You will work with a wide range of talented colleagues to make the world’s best miniatures available for all of our customers, whenever and wherever they want them.  You will proactively work between internal customers and external suppliers to ensure availability is at the highest level, without overstocking.

We know this job is fast paced, with an ever changing environment where you need to create and refine purchase plans on a regular basis to adapt to the latest business demands. This needs to be achieved whilst retaining a focus on stock targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Spotting trends in component usage and extrapolating to future demand, maintaining stock at agreed cover levels
  • Ensuring raw materials, finished goods and component replenishment orders and future demand expectations are issued to suppliers, expediting and managing delivery according to agreed order cycles, stock targets and business needs
  • Working closely with buying team to ensure supplier communication is consistent with company approach and category strategy
  • Maintain and distribute key business processes, data and reports


With excellent interpersonal skills you will ensure seamless collaboration with key stakeholders from the design studio’s through to the logistics teams as well as external parties. Your commercial acumen will enable you to be successful in an ever changing environment and the requirement to shift gears quickly ensuring that you respond to ever-changing business demands.
