About the Job

We have a fantastic opportunity for an articulate and inspiring Senior Editorial Lead to join our Warhammer Community team in Nottingham. If you have a deep understanding of the Warhammer hobby, a passion for writing engaging content and the ability to lead by example, this could be the perfect role for you.

Working closely with the Managing Editor, you’ll help develop and execute the editorial vision and long-term strategy of the Warhammer Community team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day editorial production – from content creation to final publication – ensuring we deliver to schedule on time, every time. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable managing multiple overlapping deadlines and has the ability to deliver high quality results without compromising on accuracy.

With your collaborative and proactive approach, we’ll look to you to inspire our team of in-house writers to produce captivating copy that elevates the writing standards of the team, while upholding Games Workshop’s style, clarity and tone. You’ll provide feedback, guidance and actively contribute to our culture of openness, creating an environment where everyone feels heard and valued.

As a Senior Editorial Lead, you’ll support the development of editorial calendars and content plans, proofread and edit articles for spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and factual and IP inaccuracies. Your in-depth knowledge of Warhammer and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that the distinctive voice of Games Workshop continues to engage both new and existing fans around the world.

The ideal person will have experience in both editorial production and professional writing across a range of mediums, such as magazines, newspapers and reputable online outlets. You’ll be comfortable reviewing marketing briefs and written copy, providing expert feedback, and staying up to date of trends in articles and copywriting online. Experience using WordPress or similar content management systems would be a distinct advantage.

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates unwavering honesty, approaches challenges with humility, and embodies the courage to drive a team forward. If this sounds like you,  apply today!
