We’re looking for someone to join us as a Trainee Paint Developer. You will be working in the team that is responsible for managing paint products through the development process. Producing product briefs and specifications, working with technical specialists from suppliers, carrying out comprehensive testing of paint samples to ensure they are right and providing accurate feedback to ensure we get the very best products. Working to an agreed brief and meeting scheduled deadlines enthusiastically in a design team environment.
You will learn when to push for your vision for a product, when to accept a compromise or when to let them go, yet still coming out with the required number of great new finished products.
You will like to experiment when painting -always questioning what happens if?, have your own special mixes/formulas and above all be interested in how and why they work. We’re looking for someone with good communication skills, who can describe what they like and why, and who enjoys working in a team environment.

Other Essential Information
There will be a requirement for regular travel within the UK to suppliers.
Salary: Starting from £21,000.
This is a trainee role with opportunity for progression.
