About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Video Camera Operator to join the Warhammer Studio Customer Engagement team in Nottingham. If you are passionate about capturing high-quality video footage to help attract new customers and keep our existing Warhammer fans engaged and inspired, then this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Camera Operator you will play a pivotal role in producing the most captivating content for a variety of Warhammer-related projects, which will include trailers, promotional videos, gameplay recordings and event coverage. We are looking for someone who has the flexibility to move from filming live action people to capturing miniatures in a variety of settings, whilst demonstrating a clear understanding of shot composition and movement to create visually compelling footage that enhances our storytelling.

Your thorough and methodical approach will be essential as you’ll contribute to footage selection and help find practical solutions during the post-production process alongside our creative editing team. We are seeking someone who thrives in collaborative settings, where open communication is valued and ideas are welcomed from every team member.

You’ll collaborate closely with directors, producers and other crew members to meticulously plan and support the objectives of the broader Customer Engagement team. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure that all footage aligns with the brief and is fit for its intended purpose, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our content.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a camera operator across a range of video projects within the gaming, film or entertainment industries. You should be highly proficient in operating video cameras and related equipment, including tripods, gimbals, robotic arms and lighting setups. Familiarity with video editing software is also a plus.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of practical end to end video and still production and outstanding attention to detail in order to support producers and pre-production during the pre-production phases. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of flexible working and delivering world-class footage to numerous overlapping deadlines.

If all of the above sounds exciting and you have creative vision, we want to hear from you!
