About the Job

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Publishing Designer to join our Translation team to ensure the design and layout of all localised Games Workshop products are fit for purpose.

Conscientious and with meticulous attention to detail, you’ll be responsible for managing a range of tasks from PDF approvals for printed publications and downloads, to setting typesetting and desktop publishing standards. We’ll look to you to ensure accuracy and consistency in design and layout as you assist in implementing translation amendments and will be responsible for final checks of InDesign files before handover.

Dedicated and resilient, we’ll look to you to develop a deep understanding of historical and contemporary publishing trends and to use knowledge gained to improve processes and product standards. You’ll be responsible for providing localised desktop publishing for all stages of the design process, so you’ll work closely with the design team lead for schedules and priorities to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Creative and highly organised, you’ll use your understanding of the Games Workshop range to get the best solutions for our products and packaging. We’ll look to you to guide and develop the visual design for Games Workshop localised products as you’ll work closely with the games design team to provide timely graphical and layout solutions to enhance the user experience.

Primarily responsible for our French and German products, you will have excellent English and at least French/German. Other languages would be advantageous.

Successful candidates will have proficient experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential. CAT Tools and API integration.

Location: This role is a fully remote role, which can be based from anywhere in the UK, France or Germany.
