Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Protection Manager to join our team in China. In this role you will become part of our wider legal team helping to ensure our customers enjoy Warhammer for years to come.

As our Brand Protection Manager, you’ll drive the enforcement and protection of Games Workshop’s intellectual property by leading, developing and coordinating a team of Brand Protection Advisors.Through management, hands-on enforcement, process oversight and collaboration with external service providers you’ll ensure effective and efficient enforcement across all platforms.With your proactive and thorough approach, you’ll work tirelessly to get any infringements removed.We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the Warhammer IP and has a keen eye for detail, as you’ll play an essential role in protecting Games Workshop from risk.

Highly organised and collaborative, you’ll understand that no two days are ever the same in this fast-paced role.With excellent organisational skills and a continuous improvement mindset, we’ll look to you to build and manage a team of Brand Protection Advisors who provide daily guidance, direction, and support to maintain legal robustness.

Determined and committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality, you’ll adhere to established standards and procedures to deliver exceptional results every time as you follow a structured process for removing identified products.Your ability to make tough decisions and stand firm in the face of challenges will be pivotal in achieving our goals of reducing infringing products available across sales platforms and websites.

We’re always keen to ensure continuous improvement of our processes, so we’ll look to you to get involved in research that identifies new ways for Games Workshop to approach infringing product removal.Always maintaining a hardworking and diligent approach using your time management skills will ensure you can manage a busy workload.

To be successful in this role you’ll have relevant qualifications and accreditation in brand protection or a law degree coupled with strong experience of guiding a team, ensuring that the team remains responsive and adaptable in a fast-evolving infringement landscape.

Other Essential Information

Location: This is a remote based position.Flexibility will be required as you may be asked to attend the office in Shanghai occasionally.

Language: Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential for this job.Fluency in any additional languages would be advantageous.
