The Role
Games Workshop (Warhammer) is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our ANZ IT team and play a key role in delivering reliable, cost‑effective infrastructure across all our sites.
Reporting to the General IT Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the health of our servers, networks and connected devices, supporting internet and WAN connectivity for our headquarters, warehouse and retail stores, and ensuring our systems remain stable, patched and compliant with global standards.
Your work will include monitoring and maintaining infrastructure performance, managing backups and recovery processes, supporting hardware lifecycle and asset tracking, and providing hands‑on technical support to users across ANZ. You will also assist with access provisioning, vendor issue management, and the creation of clear, practical SOPs that support consistent, high‑quality IT operations. As part of this role, you will provide first‑line support during business hours and participate in an on‑call rotation for priority after‑hours incidents.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning quickly, and taking ownership of their work. You will thrive here if you are comfortable working independently, confident in your technical capability, and motivated by delivering reliable, well‑maintained systems that support a growing business. If you want to explore what this looks like day‑to‑day, you can dive deeper into the infrastructure responsibilities or the network support expectations.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need solid hands‑on experience with servers, networking and infrastructure management, along with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
You will be comfortable working with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, backup systems and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Zabbix. Experience with network management platforms like Meraki, ISP and WAN management, patch management tools or ITIL frameworks would be beneficial, though not essential.
Location
This role is hybrid, with you expected to be on-site at our Leppington Office 3-4 days per week.
Working at Games Workshop

Because of this, we believe that what you are like – the attitude you bring, the way you behave, and the choices you make – is even more important than your skills and experience.
