Our Book and Box Games Studio is responsible for delivering world class books and boxed game products that inspire and excite Warhammer customers to collect, build, paint, and play games with Citadel Miniatures more often. We do this in four priority areas, the Warhammer 40,000 team who focus on Warhammer 40,000 and its subsidiary brands Kill Team and Apocalypse, the Warhammer Age of Sigmar team who focus on Age of Sigmar and its subsidiary brands Warcry and Warhammer Underworlds, the Magazines Team who focus on our Warhammer Partworks and White Dwarf magazine, and the Operations Team who focus on supporting the other teams to deliver their products in the most efficient way possible.

The Translation Teams are responsible for ensuring the content for Games Workshop’s publications and marketing materials are translated from English to a variety of languages including Japanese, French, Spanish, German, and now South Korean. We do this to the highest quality standard whilst also ensuring that the background, style and tone represents the original text- and it will be your job to ensure these goals are achieved.

Reporting to the South Korean Translation Manager, we have a rare and exciting opportunity to join a new team of Translators in South Korea, to deliver the highest quality translation. We’re looking for someone who will actively research and engage with colleagues to get the best understanding of Games Workshop’s background, style and tone and then implement that through translation from English to Korean. The key elements of the job will be to ensure your translations are appropriate and to manage your workload to ensure that your translations are of the best quality and delivered on time.

You will be part of a team that delivers all Games Workshop Korean translation needs to a high quality and consistent manner, including no spelling errors, the correct use of grammar. To be successful in this role you will be able to communicate fluently in Korean, and ideally, you will hold a translation degree or have demonstrable translation experience in a work environment. You will be responsible for producing and maintaining a glossary of translated terms to create a shared vocabulary, and will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, whilst clearly communicating any issues promptly and suggesting solutions for any delivery issues.
