Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Cashbook Manager.

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering an efficient and effective service, using their skills of collaboration across the business day in and day out to make Games Workshop even better!

As a Cashbook Manager you will be responsible for our cashbook team of 4 who are responsible for controlling and reconciling bank and cash transactions across multiples currencies and legal entities across Games Workshop. In this position you will manage all cash book related operations regularly consulting with our banks to ensure the accurate and timely reporting and control of banking and cash transactions. Using your excellent people skills to communicate across internals departments including Purchase Ledger, Trade and Accounts Payable to investigate and resolve any banking queries you will foster collaborative relationships to support Games Workshops financial objectives. With a keen eye for detail and taking a methodical approach, you will be the point of escalation and take responsibility for finding any variances. 

Being a trusted member of the management team, you will also deal with requests for cash, prepare and give out cash advances and floats for events as well as ensuring all bank account signatories align with Games Workshop’s structure to maintain compliance.

We are always keen to ensure continuous improvement of our processes, so you will be pivotal in ensuring communications flows freely to find, promote and develop opportunities to improve processes and cost efficiencies 

Possessing strong people management skills focussed on teamwork you will be comfortable communicating effectively with staff at all levels of the business, being an excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to consistency and through your team ensure our bank accounts are reconciled on time and that all tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy and reliability contributing to cost and operational excellence.
