About the Job

The studio is the creative heart of Games Workshop, inhabited by a group of talented, diverse individuals, united in a shared passion for all things Warhammer. We have an exciting opportunity for a concept artist with the right qualities to join our world class team.

Working in our concept team, you’ll deliver ideas and drawings that will help inspire and enable our designers to create the best miniatures possible. Surrounded by like-minded people, you’ll explore and develop all aspects of the worlds of Warhammer, from heroes, weapons and armour, beasts, war-machines and the environments they inhabit.

Highly creative and a champion of the Warhammer imagery, we’ll look to you to always strive for the best concepts possible, constantly pushing yourself to deliver ever better ideas.

Articulate and collaborative, you’ll be able to share ideas and explain key themes, values, and principles to others. You’ll build and maintain productive working relationships with the Concept team and Design Managers to develop new ideas while demonstrating a deep understanding of our characters, worlds, and stories.

If you have the drive to constantly improve, are passionate about helping us design the best fantasy miniatures in the world, and are able to deliver to deadlines, then we’d love to hear from you!

Working at Games Workshop

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme.  Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
