About the Job

Games Workshop have an exciting new opportunity to join our renowned in-house Illustration team with an artist that can maintain and enrich our library of uniform guides and vehicle colour plates. You will be depicting the numerous factions, machines of war and weaponry used throughout our range of products, including the Horus Heresy, Necromunda and Warhammer The Old World.

With a deep passion and understanding of our IP, and a keen eye for detail you will be able to quickly and accurately create digital artworks. You’ll add weathering effects and unit specific modifications showcasing the many different colour schemes used within the Legiones Astartes and supporting forces so that no two profiles will be alike.

Driven and with a strong desire to succeed, you will constantly seek to improve your skills and knowledge as you work to enrich the visual look and style of the product range. Our Illustrators work predominantly in digital media, most commonly Photoshop, working closely with teams across the wider studio to ensure IP integrity.

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced digital artist with a noted interest in military uniform guides, heraldry and the varied colour schemes of armored vehicles. Experience of Adobe Creative suite and 3D software such as Blender is essential.

If you are excited by the opportunity to develop an idea from concept to a finished product in a creative and collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
