About the Job

Games Workshop has an exciting new opportunity to join our renowned in-house Illustration team with an experienced commercial digital artist to become a part of the in-house team that creates the evocative and imaginative images seen throughout the Specialist Design Studio range of printed products.
As Digital Illustrator you will be originating, designing and producing high quality digital artwork that will feature within the Specialist Design Studio range of printed products; such as Blood Bowl, Necromunda, The Horus Heresy and Warhammer – The Old World.
With a deep passion and understanding of our IP, and a keen eye for detail you will be able to quickly and accurately create digital artworks. This is a highly varied role where you could be illustrating projects small and large; from a simple logo to an epic battle scene, and everything in between! We’ll look to you to apply your creative talents and understanding of our intellectual property to take simple photographs of our painted models, and digitally transform them into imaginative backgrounds and artwork for our printed products. Experience in using Adobe Photoshop will be beneficial.
Driven and with a strong desire to succeed, you will constantly seek to improve your skills and knowledge as you work to enrich the visual look and style of the product range. You will generate, either via line drawings or CAD files, amazingly detailed colour plates and uniform guides based upon our ranges of miniatures. Previous experience as a digital artist within a commercial studio is essential as we’ll look to you to work to a given brief and meet scheduled deadlines enthusiastically in a design team environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and very well established company that continues to lead the industry and delight its customers. If you are excited by the opportunity to develop an idea from concept to a finished product in a creative and collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
