Our talent programmes aim to find and develop the next generation of Warhammer Miniatures Designers, Painters and Concept Artists.
We have developed a suite of Creative Talent Programmes to help identify and develop new talent for the future, helping you to realise your potential.
Our world class design studio is at the creative heart of Games Workshop, inhabited by a group of diverse individuals with varying skill sets and backgrounds brought together by a common set of shared values, tireless creativity and a passion for creating the best Warhammer Miniatures that we can.
The Talent Programme will help you to focus your creative aspirations through a series of creative, practical assignments that will hone your skills and insight.
The work you submit on the programmes will be viewed and assessed by the design team; the professional, objective feedback you receive will help guide you on your chosen career path. The whole process requires you to continually critique and refine your own work whilst asking for the input of others to find the best way forward.

Miniatures Concepting
Our Miniatures Concepting Team produces 2d concepts, sketches & drawings, to inspire and ignite our world-class Warhammer Miniature Design Team with ideas for new products that will excite our customers.
Successful applicants’ portfolios will contain sketches or drawings that show they understand what could make exciting Warhammer Miniatures.
The Miniatures Concepting Programme will help you to understand what is important to be successful as a Warhammer Conceptualiser. We are looking for people who are excited to create and communicate 2d concepts for Warhammer; characters, weapons, armour, beasts, war-machines and the worlds in which they inhabit. You will be asked to fulfil briefs, exploring different areas of visual concepts.

Miniature Design
We are looking for more people to join the ranks of our Miniatures Designers. Warhammer Miniatures are at the heart of what we do at Games Workshop, key to the long term success of the business.
At the heart of the Miniature Design Talent Programme, you will be asked to design and make miniatures, following a design brief. After submission, your miniature will be assessed by the design team. After that assessment, you will receive written feedback, focused on key criteria. Each successive assignment will allow you to showcase the skills and knowledge you have developed since starting on the programme.

‘Eavy Metal painters
The miniatures design process ends with the ‘Eavy Metal painters bringing the sculpted miniatures to life through the creation of innovative and inspirational colour schemes.
The ‘Eavy Metal Painter Talent Programme will take you through a course of practical painting assignments that will test you in various painting techniques and skills. Each assignment will be fully briefed, with painting recipes, where appropriate. Upon completion, we will arrange a courier to collect the miniature, delivering it to us for assessment by the ‘Eavy Metal Team.
After that assessment, you will receive written feedback, focused on key criteria. Each successive assignment will allow you to showcase the skills and knowledge you have honed since starting on the programme.
