About the Job
We’re looking for a Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team, someone who loves working with people as much as numbers. This role is about more than models, forecasts, and budgets, although you will lead these too; it’s about using insight to guide decision-making, partnering with the business on both good and tough days, and always looking for ways to make things better.
Reporting to the finance director, you’ll lead the forecasting and three-year planning processes across the business, as well as building and maintaining the financial models that underpin them. Your analysis will help shape our decisions, you’ll play a key role in developing and challenging business cases for new investments as well as reviewing and challenging our costs base to ensure we are spending our money wisely You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, from BI and reporting to commercial teams, to ensure our metrics are consistent are our data is robust but what really matters here is how we work. We value humility, honesty, and courage – doing the right thing without fuss, learning from what didn’t go as planned, and constantly seeking improvements. We’re looking for someone with a commercial mindset who can balance the detail with the big picture, adapt quickly to change, and influence through collaboration rather than hierarchy.
If you’re a qualified accountant in either ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with strong FP&A experience, a track record in budgeting, forecasting and business partnering, and the ability to build robust models in Excel and Power BI, you’ll thrive here. Experience working in due diligence is a real plus for this role. But just as importantly, if you’re curious, resilient, flexible and love working with people, you could be exactly the person we are looking for.
This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a business that cares about both performance and culture. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
