About the Job

Games Workshop is looking for a precise and thorough Copy Editor to join our Sales Support team in Nottingham. If you have an expert grasp of written English and can meticulously check and edit a wide range of sales support materials at pace without ever compromising on accuracy, then this could be the role for you.

As a Copy Editor, you’ll help Games Workshop communicate with customers across Warhammer.com product descriptions, point-of-sale materials, web banners, event packs, and social media posts. Your keen attention to detail will ensure every published word meets the highest standards of English and presents Games Workshop’s world-class IP clearly and accurately.

Collaborating closely with a small team of writers and editors, you’ll deliver on Sales Support briefs and provide clear, constructive feedback to maintain consistency across the team’s output. With your thorough approach, you’ll ensure all written copy follows internal and external style guides and support the team to deliver engaging and accurate copy across multiple overlapping deadlines. Being adaptable will be key to your success, as an edit on words may be needed at a moment’s notice.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in copy editing and working with style guides. Your ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines is essential. Knowledge of Games Workshop’s products and universes is also beneficial.

If you’re comfortable sharing your thoughts and ideas openly and can inspire a sense of urgency among team members without sacrificing quality, then apply below!
