About the Job

Games Workshop is recruiting an exciting position as a Tool Designer. As a skilled Plastics injection Mould Designer, you’ll work in a world class toolroom producing the best fantasy miniatures in the world.

With a process driven mindset, you’ll be excited by working in an environment where you’ll be expected to continually challenge what you do and to improve it by using the right methods and the latest CAD software to design plastic injection moulding tools.

You’ll take responsibility for producing Tool Designs to a very high standard; this will include all areas of Tool Design from layout to completion of product. Every new product brings to the table new challenges and so you’ll need to be the type of person who thrives on this and who will work tirelessly to get the desired results.

You’ll be using Autodesk Powershape software to carry out your role, ideally you’ll have experience of this in a working environment or be confident and skilled enough to transfer from a different Tool Design software within reasonable timescales.

We’re looking for someone who can relish the challenges encountered on the way to producing great Tool Designs. You’ll need to ensure the files represent the intentions of the Miniatures Designer while meeting the standards necessary for them to be used in an injection moulding toolroom. All of this requires a collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and very well-established company that continues to lead the industry and delight our customers. If you have good knowledge of Plastic Injection Tool Design and want to be part of our exciting future, we want to hear from you!
