About the Job

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Support Specialist to join our Logistics Team at our East Midlands gateway distribution hub.

If you’re a strong communicator who can overcome critical problems at pace and are driven by a passion for testing and delivering quality to ensure a better user experience, then this could be the role for you!

Reporting to the Logistics Systems Manager, you’ll work as part of a team to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing success of our logistics systems. You’ll analyse data to enable the successful delivery of new solutions. We’re looking for someone with an inquisitive approach who is keen to exchange ideas, is practical, and has the experience to help improve the effectiveness of our systems and operations.

In this role, you’ll review and analyse specifications and requirements to produce detailed test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test exit reports to ensure the delivery of high-quality results. You’ll also be responsible for understanding requirements to support Logistics and IT integrations and support testing on major projects.

You will be confident in escalating and triaging issues to vendors where necessary; you’ll ensure that all parties are clear on terminology. You will provide ongoing daily monitoring and support to operations to identify and eradicate issues before they stop or slow the operation and to work alongside the team to ensure any challenges are resolved.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Games Workshop’s Logistics team. Being knowledgeable in your field, you’ll have firsthand experience of system testing and warehouse management systems. We always look for people who are as committed as we are, and who believe in and care about the things we do, so if the above sounds like you, get in touch!

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme.  Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
