About the Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Leppington, Sydney on a 12-month fixed term contract. If you have a good understanding of accounting principles, can consistently deliver high-quality results with accuracy and bring clarity to all aspects of your communication, then this could be the role for you!
In this role, you will be responsible for processing and reviewing ledger transactions and preparing reports to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our accounting records. This will include completing monthly, half-yearly and year-end reporting ensuring the right information is delivered to the right people, accurately and on time. Having a methodical, inquisitive and tenacious approach is essential as you play a key role in identifying any inconsistencies, errors, and potential system issues.
We are looking for somebody who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to provide support and cover across all key financial functions. You’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with shared services in an international setting, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will contribute to our Systems Improvement Program, which includes data migration, data cleansing, training and process development.
The ideal candidate will be CPA/CA qualified, have demonstrable experience of working in a high volume accounting environment with large volumes of financial data and a good understanding of D365 with global finance business processes.
