About the Job
Games Workshop has an amazing opportunity for a talented miniatures painter to join our world-renowned Eavy Metal team!
As part of the Eavy Metal team in our Warhammer Design Studio, you’ll be responsible for painting Warhammer miniatures to a world-class standard. Your work will feature in Warhammer packaging, Codexes, rulebooks, websites and games, including Warhammer 40,000, Kill Team – and also, on occasion, Middle-earth™ and Blood Bowl.
Highly creative and with a deep passion for Warhammer 40,000, you’ll produce high impact, exquisitely rendered paint jobs steeped in a deep understanding of the 40K IP, whilst working to a brief and understanding the purpose and standard the project requires. You’ll possess strong technical skills, an understanding of colour theory, and enjoy the challenge of painting miniatures to strict deadlines, whilst always pushing quality.
If you are an experienced and skilled painter who loves Warhammer 40,000 and wants to paint Space Marines, Tyranids, Orks and more for a living, then we want to hear from you!

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
