About the Job

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our renowned Black Library.

Black Library is the publishing division of Games Workshop, producing a wide array of novels and books in a variety of physical and digital formats – from audiobooks to premium limited editions. As Black Library’s Production Manager, you will lead a team of talented individuals across a broad range of disciplines, including scheduling, data & planning, digital design and audio production, ensuring they produce the very best quality work on time, in full and on budget.

You will be an experienced manager who is proactive and organised, as you will need to prioritise and manage multiple work streams and teams simultaneously. You will have a track record of adapting to meet external challenges or changing priorities, and be able to review ways of working to find the most effective and efficient way to meet the business needs.

The role interacts with a large number of teams across the business and key external partners so you will be confident when collaborating, understanding how to nurture strong relationships and overcome any barriers. Naturally inquisitive, highly-skilled in communicating and building relationships, you will successfully drive efficiencies across the Black Library by recognising opportunities to continuously improve.

In order to make sure Black Library’s production operation is efficient and profitable, you will be able to solve problems, challenge appropriately and plan for multiple scenarios.

Prior experience in publishing, operations or production is desirable.
