As the Marketing Manager for Japan, you will ensure our marketing efforts support the growth of the Warhammer hobby by understanding and localising global marketing plans for the Japanese market. We are looking for someone who has a willingness to work in a culture that encourages openness, honesty, and values constructive feedback.

Being an experienced marketeer and people manager, you should demonstrate a naturally collaborative work style and confidence in communicating with stakeholders and peers. Proficiency in English is essential, as you will work closely with colleagues from the UK daily.

With the support and guidance of the Global Brand and Category Manager, you will develop an annual marketing plan for Japan that aligns with our global strategy and meets local sales and marketing objectives. You and your team will create and distribute engaging content, attract new customers and enhance the Warhammer brand presence, and support our sales activities. Regular performance reporting and participation in global campaign reviews will be part of your responsibilities, using data and insights to refine your local marketing efforts.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who easily develops effective working relationships and is confident working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Additionally, you should have prior experience working in Japan with international businesses and various business cultures, and knowledge of Warhammer and/or board games would be beneficial.

Location: This is a hybrid position with the expectation to work from the office in Tokyo a minimum of 1 day per week. 

Language Requirement: Proficiency in both English and Japanese is essential for this role.
