About the Job

Games Workshop is recruiting an exciting new role for a Network Engineer. Working in our Global IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective support of our IT systems and services. If you’re keen to work collaboratively across all areas of the business, implementing, managing, and maintaining our global network, this could be the position for you.

Always remaining calm and professional in your approach, you’ll manage customer expectations and resolve challenges promptly, ensuring the implementation of best practice procedures and technical controls across Games Workshop’s global network. This means you’ll support our Head Office in Nottingham and multiple remote users and retail stores working effortlessly to provide hands-on technical support and guidance.

Diligent and meticulous in your approach will ensure you take pride in your role of day-to-day networking monitoring, triage, and administration to ensure optimal performance, availability, and stability.

Proactive with great instincts of what needs to be achieved, you’ll be keen to keep our network fit for the future, so we’ll look to you to install, configure and upgrade hardware and software that support our systems. All of this will need to be accomplished to enable us to meet the agreed service levels.

We’re looking for someone confident in their ability to work independently but who also understands when collaboration is key. You’ll need to work alongside other engineers to resolve complex issues and share pragmatic solutions to improve first time fix rates and reduce repeat incidents.

Ideally, you will have experience working with HP Aruba and Cisco Meraki network wired and wireless technologies, firewall and cloud network technologies. If you’re able to diagnose issues logically, organised with the ability to work on multiple projects at pace and a background as a Network engineer, apply today:
