About the Job

Are you a natural problem solver with an inquisitive mind who is always looking for ways in which you can make improvements? Can you handle high pressure situations without losing focus and quality?

We are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our busy tooling department. In this exciting role you will be accountable for the trialling, testing and process optimisation of all new injection mould tooling for Games Workshop.

The tooling team delivers tooling to manufacture the best quality table top war gaming miniatures in the world which are cherished and collected by customers. If you are self-motivated, keen and eager to seek out and trial the latest technologies and techniques to ensure the best possible manufacturing methods are being used, then this could be the role for you.

You will be trialling all new small to medium size tooling right through from the first test shot to final sign off, producing reports for each trial. Using injection moulding machines in a dedicated tool try out area, you will be liaising with toolmakers and tool designers to resolve moulding issues. You will produce all samples, setting data and documentation to hand over to production.

We know that trying to eliminate a tiny pin hole or fill the last millimetre of a thin part makes this job a real challenge. Success in this role relies on staying cheerful and focused on resolving difficult moulding problems. Doing this consistently to a very busy schedule is tough, but will appeal to people who enjoy this kind of challenge.

Hands on experience and knowledge of Injection Moulding is essential.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
