About the Job
Do you want to take a lead role in Games Workshop’s Japanese translation team, delivering high-quality translations across publications, marketing, and digital platforms? Are you passionate about translating products, marketing, and web content from English to Japanese, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and engaging style, all while meeting deadlines?
We’re looking for a senior translator who not only delivers excellent translations but also supports the growth of the team. In this role, you will be expected to guide and mentor colleagues, set quality standards, and collaborate closely with other teams to maintain consistency across all Japanese content. A major part of the job is producing polished translations of Games Workshop’s IP, with a strong focus on web and digital content, while also leading by example in the translation team and helping coordinate tasks so that everything is delivered to a consistently high standard. You will also be actively researching and engaging with colleagues to ensure that Games Workshop’s background, style, and tone are faithfully conveyed in Japanese.

The expectation of this position is that you will either work from home (in which case Games Workshop will provide the necessary materials to achieve this), or at our head office in Japan. Please note that this is a full-time position. All applications must be in English or Japanese.
