About the Job

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warhammer 40,000 expert to join the Warhammer Community writing team in Nottingham. If you live and breathe all things 41st Millennium, and can get other people excited about it too, then this could be the perfect role for you.

As the team’s Warhammer 40,000 expert, you’ll be responsible for ideating and producing exceptional articles for the Warhammer Community website that will engage, inform and inspire both existing and new hobbyists.

Your detailed knowledge of all aspects of the game means you’ll be able to quickly analyse the latest codexes, balance dataslates or tournament-topping army lists for the key developments that will impact the meta. You’ll be connected in the world of Organised Play and be aware of all the latest online conversations. You’ll take all of that knowledge and use it to produce insightful and engaging articles for Warhammer Community’s huge audience of passionate fans.

Collaborating closely with editors, other writers, and designers, you’ll work on everything from long-form features on tactics to live events coverage and reveal articles. You’ll also conduct journalistic interviews with colleagues across Games Workshop and beyond. You’ll do this while upholding Games Workshop’s style, clarity and tone.

Your attention to detail and adaptable approach will enable you to manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines with ease. You’ll ensure all content stays on brief, delivering high quality work at pace without ever compromising on accuracy.

If Warhammer 40,000 is your passion and you thrive in a creative environment that values open communication and collaboration, then we’d love to hear from you!
