About the Job
Are you passionate about the worlds of Warhammer, and the Warhammer Hobby? Can you explain the difference between the Administratum and the Departmento Munitorum, or a Vanguard Chamber and a Ruination Chamber?
We have an exciting new opportunity for a new Brand Assurance Representative to join our busy Licensing and Media team to help make our officially licensed products better than ever!
Games Workshop licences a number of role-playing games, card games, board games, and other lines, all of which must be lovingly checked and guided to ensure they are unfailingly faithful to the Warhammer setting. As a Brand Assurance Representative, a fundamental part of this role involves using your creative judgement to ensure all licensed products faithfully represent Games Workshop’s IP. You’ll need an active, working understanding of our settings and characters across the full spectrum of Warhammer IP’s and a willingness to keep that knowledge up to date. Why? Our fans and customers expect that every officially licensed product is of the highest quality, properly checked… it’s got to feel right.
Influential and a clear communicator, we’ll look to you to be an ambassador for Games Workshop and help us maintain a positive reputation as a great licensor. You’ll do this by building and maintaining productive relationships with our licensed partners. That means readily taking challenges on board, finding hard answers, and relaying feedback in a clear, comprehensive, and courteous manner.
Of course, the third part of this role is to help us protect Warhammer, by fastidiously researching subjects, recording submissions, and samples, and ensuring an unbroken chain of ownership.
If you want to be involved in the development and approval of the next big Warhammer licensed role-playing game, card game, or board game we’re looking forward to hearing from you!
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
