About the Job

Games Workshop has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Licensing Category Manager to join the Licensing team, where you will be part of a team who have responsibility for the video games licensing category. Our global licensing department collaborates with some of the best-in-class developers and publishers, creating world-renowned video games – such as Space Marine 2, Darktide and Total War: Warhammer.

You’ll play a crucial role as you shape and implement sustainable plans for growth in the video games category, ensuring delivery is in line with overall licensing objectives.

Highly astute and with a natural ability to foster strong connections, you’ll manage high-profile video game accounts, building and maintaining strong business relationships to broaden licensees’ reach. We’ll look to you to lead the negotiations of existing video game licensing amendments to ensure we maintain an outstanding video game offer while maximising commercial revenue. You will work closely with the legal team to draft and finalise intellectual property agreements.

Resilient and with an eye for detail, you’ll be responsible for monitoring the revenue growth performance of all existing licences to identify any opportunities and risks. We’ll look to you to maximise licensed activity, including the planning and execution of the annual Warhammer Skulls video games festival, to drive audience growth and commercial success. You will support the team in identifying, pursuing, and signing high-quality, high-value licensees that align with Games Workshop’s licensing strategy and IP brand values.

Passionate about people and with an ability to drive development, you’ll be an ambassador for the Warhammer brand as you’ll manage the video games licensing team and delegate management of specific licensee accounts. You’ll lead by example as you set clear goals, measure performance, and encourage the best team performance. We’ll look to you to assign day-to-day tasks and to ensure individual skill sets are aligned to appropriate licences.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring solid experience in product, account, or commercial management within the video games industry, along with a good understanding of contracts and commercial negotiations. With your big-picture thinking, organisational flair, and passion for what makes a licensed product shine, you’ll be ready to make a real impact. If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, we’d love you to apply!
