About the Job

If you’re an experienced Programme Manager who enjoys bringing order to projects and seeing them through to completion, we’d like to hear from you. This is a chance to lead some of the most exciting programmes across Games Workshop, working alongside senior leaders to deliver initiatives that will shape how we operate for years to come. You’ll be part of our Logistics & Central Operations team, primarily focusing on a programme covering sustainability, compliance and operational improvements across our growing global business.

This is a job where you’ll need to understand what the business is trying to achieve, ask the right questions and keep everyone on track. You’ll take ownership of major programmes from the early planning stages through to delivery, making sure governance is in place, budgets are controlled, and risks are understood. Some projects will be straightforward, others won’t, but you’ll enjoy finding practical solutions and keeping momentum when priorities change and demonstrating clearly where they are against the plan. Your experience could come from manufacturing, retail, logistics, utilities, financial services, healthcare or another large-scale organisation where you’ve successfully delivered complex business programmes.

You’ll spend plenty of time working with senior decision-makers, so you’ll need the confidence to challenge when necessary and the judgement to know when to adapt your approach. We’re looking for someone who is a brilliant communicator, builds trust quickly and is comfortable bringing together different teams to solve problems. You’ll have experience managing significant investment, working with external delivery partners and leading programmes that involve multiple parts

At Games Workshop, we value people who take the time to understand the business, look for sensible ways to improve how things are done and are prepared to be honest about what is not working so we can find the best way forward to all challenges. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of programmes that make a genuine difference across the business, with the freedom to get on with the job and the support to succeed.

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme.  Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
