About the Job
We have a brand new opportunity for a talented Catering Manager to join the Food and Beverage Team at our Nottingham Head Office. Our Food and Beverage Team supports our famous Bugman’s Bar in Lenton Nottingham, as well as providing essential food services to the staff restaurant for over 1500 Games Workshop staff. We also manage the food and beverage offer for our East Midlands Gateway site which is located 20 minutes away.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a high quality, cost effective food service to Games Workshop staff and customers; ensuring a high level of food safety and hygiene standard at all times, whilst maintaining outstanding customer services.
Managing the Catering Team, including kitchen and canteen staff, you will be passionate about implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Head Chef and Bugman’s Bar Manager to create the food menus, ensuring that the offering is of a consistently high standard. You will also help to source suppliers and negotiate with them to ensure the all stock is to the highest standards and at the best prices.
By being directly involved throughout the department, working with all of the teams you will use your eye for quality and excellent attention to detail to assure complete adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation, whilst employing food safety and HACCP best practices at all times in accordance with the company’s Food Safety Management documentation. This includes ensuring all documentation/certificates are up to date and filed correctly in anticipation of inspections.
