About the Job

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Site Services Team!  In this new role, you will be the first point of contact for all internal and external contractors across our Nottingham and East Midlands Gateway sites.

In this challenging role you will be responsible for making sure that all relevant key works & compliance documents, such as risk assessment method statements, insurance documents and licences are provided, assessed and approved before any works commence. You will ensure that all required approvals and permits are issued and are fully compliant with the relevant policies for the duration of the works.

All our internal and external contractors must have the adequate training, appropriate accreditation, knowledge and instructions regarding the relevant Games Workshop policies and compliance requirements and this will be a key responsibility for the person in this role. It is also essential that the induction process is fully completed before any contractor work commences, paying particular attention to the site guidelines, policies, site layout and any other works that may be taking place.

You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the approved key site works & contractor database. The documentation provided must be approved and then stored digitally so that it is accessible to those who need it.

To be successful in this role you will be the type of person who inspires trust and confidence in others. You get things done through people and strive to always have the right people in the right place at the right time. Working closely with project managers, engineering teams and contractors you will check that all work programmes are agreed, planned and communicated to the relevant parties. Reporting directly to the Estate Facilities Manager, you will ensure that they are always kept informed regarding all planned and active contractor activities on site.

You set and drive high standards, always looking for ways to improve. You champion a high quality customer service, safety & continuous improvement culture.

Knowledge & experience of IWFM level 3 Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management will be an advantage.

If you have a technical background, ideally in an electrical or mechanical discipline, are qualified to NEBOSH level 3,and have previous experience of managing contractors in a manufacturing or distribution environment, we want to hear from you!
