About the Job

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Team Manager to join our Black Library team where you’ll lead our Digital Team and oversee Black Library digital initiatives, including accessibility.

Passionate about people, this role will see you leading a team of talented Digital Book Designers and Audio Producers to deliver high quality products. We will look to you to ground your team in a culture of collaboration, mutual support, and continuous improvement, as you set goals and keep score through regular performance reviews, coaching and development support.

A confident communicator and highly collaborative, you will establish essential relationships with internal and external teams to ensure tactical priorities are understood by all and that strategic goals are delivered. Resilient and experienced with tailoring your communication style to suit individual needs, you will be comfortable using your communication skills to confirm that plans have been fully understood by your team, and eBooks and audiobooks are delivered within budget, on time, and in full.

Courageous and credible, your dual competency for managing both people and product will ensure your success in this role. Black Library has released over 4,000 digital products to date, and you will play a pivotal role in controlling ongoing quality and innovation. You will be expected to learn our digital product inventory in-depth, and research industry trends and technologies that could help us to grow sales. You will also need to be highly knowledgeable about digital product legislation, particularly around global accessibility regulations. We’ll look to you to take ownership of digital product metadata, verifying that it is being captured and utilised successfully, as well as identifying and advocating for refinements, improvements, and optimisations in the ways it is deployed.
