About the Job
Games Workshop is looking for an experienced Events Manager to take the lead in delivering spectacular Warhammer events across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting role, where you will have the opportunity to deliver events that showcase the best of Warhammer, while playing a key role in shaping the future of our events in this region.
As the Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering seven major events throughout the year that leave a positive lasting impression on our fans. You’ll work closely with the Global Head of Events, Senior Event Manager, Senior Organised Play Manager and Global Events team, managing both Games Workshop led events and supporting independent Warhammer events, such as conventions and tournaments. Your ability to negotiate lasting agreements and foster valuable partnerships with host venues and vendors will be key to ensuring we achieve on-budget, on-time success. At the same time, your focus on hitting sales targets, managing budgets and creating exceptional experiences for everyone you interact with will be essential to your success.
The ideal person will be truly passionate about the Warhammer community, can keep smiling amidst the chaos, while playing a vital role in both attracting new fans and nurturing the loyalty of our existing ones. Your driven and organised approach will ensure that every detail from ticket sales to event performance runs smoothly no matter what challenges arise.
Management will be a key aspect of your role, as you inspire and guide both full and part-time event staff through each stage of planning and execution. We want you to build an environment of honesty and collaboration to allow your teams to thrive. You’ll have strong data skills as you need to track event performance, learn from each experience and make continuous improvements to events.
If you are organised, resilient and excited about making our events even better, apply now!
