We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team!

Are you an experienced time served maintenance engineer, looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic working environment? Are you passionate about working in a team to ensure all manufacturing people, processes & equipment always receive the highest level of support?

Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you will work alongside a team of engineers plus an engineering apprentice to deliver support to all 3 of our factories.

This is a varied role, and you will be required to liaise with all departments, as well as on-site contractors to ensure the smooth delivery of maintenance tasks and projects to tight time scales. You will be responsible for electrical maintenance- ensuring that all plant and systems are maintained. You will carry out refurbishment works as required.

The team will deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs, respond to breakdowns, repairs & work requests, as well as being heavily involved in large projects that ensure Games Workshop continues to manufacture the best fantasy miniatures in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly skilled, multi-disciplined manufacturing environment, in an organisation that understands our people are our biggest asset. To be successful in this role you will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment delivering maintenance support on equipment (injection moulding, CNC’s, conveyor systems, shrink wrap, paint filling and packaging machinery etc.) You will also have a demonstrated ability to problem solve issues with manufacturing equipment or infrastructure and hands on hydraulic & pneumatic systems knowledge.

Qualified to 18th Edition (BS7671) as a minimum and ideally inspection & test certification (2391) you will be comfortable performing and delivering PPM programmes in a Manufacturing environment & working with 3rd party contractors.

Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety fundamentals relating to a manufacturing environment is also required.

Other Essential Information

This role operates over an alternating shift pattern: 6am-2pm / 12pm-8pm

The vacancy offers a great salary along with good work life balance, no weekends or nights and a company bonus!

The successful candidate will also be added to the on-call rota for out of hour emergencies. You will usually be On-Call 1 week in 6.
