Working in a team of 4 and reporting into the Lead Payroll Advisor, the role of Payroll Assistant is a demanding position and you will be expected to meet the various deadlines across 21 payrolls to pay all 2000+ global employees accurately, on time, every time. Responsible for the end to end service, you will be processing, balancing and making payments, juggling multiple priorities at any one time.
You will be required to support the delivery of payments in different currencies, understand the different payroll challenges of each Country and assist with month end reporting to both internal and external departments. You will enjoy ad hoc requests and have the ability to be flexible to meet a range of different requests.
Our Payroll Assistant will need to be confident and communicative as the role requires interaction with employees on a one to one basis and assisting with employee workshops. It is important you have both the desire to listen and understand the employee to ensure they receive an excellent experience and be able to deal effectively with third parties.
You will need to be a supportive team player having the ability to offer good resolutions in difficult situations to ensure accurate and timely payrolls.
Our successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service at all times whilst ensuring Games Workshop does not incur any unnecessary costs through inaccuracy or late payment demands.
The ideal candidate will have skills/experience in:
- Processing of UK payrolls (Essential)
- Processing of overseas payrolls (desirable)
- Experience using iTrent payroll system (desirable)
- Processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls (desirable)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel knowledge including vlookups and pivot tables (essential)
- Experience using reporting software to create and run reports (desirable)
