Games Workshop has a fantastic opportunity to join our busy, talented, and friendly payroll team!

We’re looking for a Payroll Assistant and in this fast-paced role, you’ll assist with the end-to-end processing of our global payroll service, consisting of UK, European and Asian payrolls. An elevated level of diligence is essential to process and input all paperwork accurately and to such detail that another member of the team can follow it.

Working in a team of five the role of a Payroll Assistant is a busy one and you’ll be able to meet the various deadlines across multiple payrolls to pay our employees across the globe accurately,
on time, every time. You’ll need to be highly organised and plan your work efficiently, as you are responsible for the end-to-end service, processing, balancing, and making payments, so you’ll be juggling multiple priorities at once.

This role will allow you to develop your knowledge of international payrolls to support the delivery of payments in different currencies, understanding the different payroll challenges of each country. You’ll be adaptable and consistent in responding positively as you assist with month end reporting to both internal and external departments.

We’re looking for someone who is confident and communicative, as the role requires interaction with employees on a one-to-one basis as well as assisting with employee workshops. It’s key that you have both the desire to listen and understand the employee to ensure they receive an excellent experience. You’ll also be able to deal effectively with third parties.

Ideally, with a background in Payroll, you’ll enjoy continuing to learn, keeping up to date with all relevant payroll legislation, both within the United Kingdom and any other countries within which Games Workshop operates, to ensure we’re always fully compliant.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience processing UK payrolls and a good knowledge of payroll legislation. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Any experience of using the iTrent payroll system and, or experience using reporting software to create and run reports is an advantage.
