About the Job
Games Workshop has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Licensing Commercial Manager to join the Licensing team, where you will be part of a team who have responsibility for the video games and consumer products licensing categories. Our global Licensing department collaborates with some of the best-in-class developers and publishers, creating world-renowned video games such as Space Marine 2, Darktide and Total War: Warhammer.
You’ll play a crucial role in delivering our strategy for continuing to build the Warhammer brand in that market. GW already has a strong selection of licensees in the space and is constantly seeking more partners. This role will be responsible for finding and signing the biggest and best licences to targets, to grow our licensing business sustainably.
Resilient and persuasive, you’ll be responsible for running and managing business development and commercial maximisation across all categories, but with a particular focus on video games. You need to be experienced in licensing as we’ll look to you to identify, target and plan how to gain new licenses as we see you leading pitch creation sessions, and trade shows through organisation and set up.
Highly collaborative and astute, you’ll work closely with the team and our internal legal department to negotiate new license commercial terms and to ensure the best commercial deal possible. You’ll be responsible for processing and tracking all new agreements, including their status, who will be their points of contact at Games Workshop and their potential licensed partner. We’ll look to you to ensure all pre-signing due diligence and greenlight processes are finalised and completed and that the correct rigour has been followed.
Business savvy and with a robust understanding of financial data, you’ll work closely with the Head of Licensing to assist with commercial planning and reporting to create overall commercial strategy development, through tracking against targets and recognising new commercial opportunities. We’ll look to ensure commercial rigour is applied to all decisions across the Licensing team as you help to create significant new growth initiatives and new categories within the Licensing business.
We are looking for someone who not only possesses the skills and experience for the role but also upholds our fundamental principles of honesty, humility and courage in their working day. Honesty is at the heart of our team’s ethos, where transparency and integrity guide every interaction, so if this sounds like you, apply today!

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
